Green beachwear

Hello! Have you ever hear of this Italian brand, Soseaty?

It should be pronounced as “society” in English, stands for the combination of SOS + SEA + SOCIETY = SOSEATY. Their mission is to use biodegradable ore recycled materials and adopt a lifestyle that is mindful about the resources available.

Soseaty is committed to sustainable fashion through this R3 project based on key principles such as RE-USE, RE-SELL and RE-GENERATE.

Based on the findings that already being able to extend the life of a garment by nine months is going to lower the impact on the environment by 30% percent in terms of water consumption, CO2 emitted and waste generation, this company came up with the proposal to give a green bonus of 20% discount to purchase new products if you give back your own used items of the same category. The used old garment is then sanitized and can be re-sold an put in the circular lifecycle of the product itself.

Hope you get inspired to shop your beachwear with an eye to protect the environment!

Beachwear: one size fits most!

Hello! Obviously we want to be free to wear what we like regardless of our body type and thankfully the fashion industry is slowly moving towards this big milestone, although still few mainstream brand have an inclusive range when it comes to sizes. Well, let’s focus on the positive side: there are small brands that are actively doing that!

Today I want to talk about this beachwear brand, Reina Olga, that has launched a collection named “One size fits most”. It is a brand funded by 2 sisters and their philosophy is to provide swimwear for all the body types.

Their slogan “NO BIKINI IS EVER TOO SMALL, AND NO TOOSHIE IS EVER TOO BIG” conveys a strong message of body positivity: no woman should hide her body but instead accentuating the beauty and shape which is unique to each individual.

To reinforce this message, Reina Olga also provides size in numbers 1,2,3 equivalent to S/M/L but it just sound better!

6 ideas for One piece swimsuits SS20

Hello!

I’ll talk about one of my favorite garments: the onepiece swimsuit.

I love the onepiece for its elegance and versatility. You can start wearing it as soon as the sun starts to go down, to enjoy the last hours on the beach but also to stretch long until the aperitif and, why not, for dinner. Basically you need to just add a pair of jeans or a skirt to transform it into the perfect bodysuit!

You’ll find some inspirations I have picked from 2020 collection in the gallery below, click on each link to know more about the brand and price, hope you’ll like it!
