Dutch denim brand founded in 2001, KUYICHI, which produces 100% organic denim clothes. The founders have a very interesting journey that inspired them to launch this brand in 2001: they were exploring the cotton industry in Peru and were shocked by the pollution and poverty they saw, so they started partnering with farmers of local cotton and to produce fair and organic cotton products without the use of toxic chemicals.
The denim industry is one of the biggest polluters and this company acts as a driver of change with a genuine intent to fix the fashion system.
Kuyichi also believes in transparency so it continues to be open and disclose the list of its suppliers and this is the ground to create a sustainable journey as it is mandatory to know where your products are produced and to track them to be able to improve and correct the production processes.
