Hello! If you are looking for shoes made with Cactus leather, you should try the collection fromCarmona.
This footwear Mexican brand is founded by 3 sisters based in León Guanajuato, where making shoes is a tradition since generations.
These ladies have decided starting day one to join the ecological revolution, integrating sustainable and innovative materials into their products designs.
The leather they use in the creation of footwear is a soft, sustainable and partially organic product that replaces the use of animal leather and synthetics that harm the environment. Moreover all the materials are locally sourced in Mexico but also carefully hand made by local expert artisans with great care and attention!
Shipping is worldwide however it is relatively straightforward if you live in US or Canada (actually free within Mexico) but if you are based somewhere else you would need to drop them a message to get to know shipping accurate costs and estimated timelines.
My favorite piece of the collection is the pair of vegan combat boots, perfect combination with long skirts and different type of stockings to wear during cold season just ahead of us in Europe!
Hope you get inspired for your next shopping of vegan shoes, take care!
Hello! If you are looking to buy sneakers from a brand that has a strong focus on transparency, fair trade and social and environmental responsibility, you should definitely check Veja.
Veja is a French company established since 2003 and always committed to fair trading sourcing and the use of organic materials. Their journey began when the founders got in contact with another French company which was making coffee and chocolate etc working directly with producers and farmers around the world and that was an eye opener to come to realization that they could also make an innovative consumers product which would have made a positive impact on the economy.
The founders of Veja decided to focus their effort into producing sneakers and this choice is originated by results of a research showing that for this specific product traditionally in the industry 70% of cost was spent on advertising and only 30% allocated to manufacturing. These guys though it would have been smarter to cut the ads costs and put a lot more money into the manufacturing process, yet being able to keep the same retail price basically paving the way to producing goods with respect to the environment and to the people involved in the making process.
How they did it? They flew to Brazil and started working with the Seringueiros, a community living in the Amazon rain forest that operates in harmony with the surrounding environment and then they established collaboration with organic cotton producers not using fertilizers and pesticides.
As a results, natural rubber from trees and organic cotton are key materials used to produce these sneakers and long story short these are then manufactured in a factory still in Brazil and then assembled and packaged back in France, in the outskirts of Paris.
Nowadays, Veja, which by the way stands for “look” in Portuguese, produces sneakers with a new developed fabrics entirely made from recycled plastic bottles and they sell in many countries worldwide with serious commitment to keep improving in what they do.

Hello! Feet in this season inevitably end up in the spotlight: a joy for many, an authentic tragedy for many others, myself included!
The good news is that among the shoes for summer 2020, the sandals closed in front are among the most original and trendy.
Many people have developed a tricky relationship with their feet for various reasons and if you are of one those perhaps affected by some form of podophobia, you’ll be happy to hear that there is plenty of shoes you can wear when it starts to get hot, without giving-up on glamour!
Hello girls! Summer finally kicked-in and many of us (myself included) have a passion for boots and despite the hot weather, we are willing to leave our sandals for some nice and stylish lightweight boots.
Here my TOP 5 booties I would buy and wear this summer:
#1 Pink Nude boots Red Valentino
I love the block heel combined with a squared toe, the micro-bow on top is absolutely amazing!
Perfect shoes for a romantic dining date and I would take advantage of the sale now on!
